I wouldn't load any more resident scanners, it will slow the pc down (if it aint slow enough with mcafee), but you can load manual antispyware scanners, (AVG antispyware reverts to manual after 30 days), superantispyware etc.
and do the occasional web scan

If you want o pay for Security NOD32 and Kaspersky ar egood AV programs or just use a free one like AVG, AntiVir or Avast.
If you want an all in one suite Kaspresky and Eset (which includes NOD32) are good. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
i pay for Macafee through aol at 2.49 pm so Kaspresky is a lot cheaper, so would i still need ad aware and crap cleaner and windows defender. i was reading about este and that had a good write up, i am not every well up on these things just want to be safe.
Thanks for your help0 -
A suite like Kasperksy or Eset usually contains AV software, AntiSpyware software, A firewall and maybe additional things like Parental Control Software. So you wouldn't need McAfee, Adaware or defender.
CCleaner is different, it's not really security software just a tool to clean up old files and junk on your PC so you would keep that. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
