Hi we use bt for our landline and are in a contract with AOL for our broadband and phone calls, we have had trouble paying our bt bill before we changed our calls to AOL and have built up a balance of £290:o  we have been on incoming calls and are due to be totally cut off on the 2nd of April, BT have refused the CCCS payments so I was wondering can I change my landline provider to talk talk (are they the only other landline provider?) and stick with AOL for calls and internet ? THanks in advance if anyone could help I would be grateful, had a look on talk talk website but couldn't find anything?

Given that TalkTalk broadband doesn't cost anything, why would you stay with AOL?0

I have been with AOL for 5 years and at the moment am in 18 month contract with them and am happy with them and want to stay with them.LBM-29/08/07

But you have no money, and they are expensive. How are you in an 18 month contract when you've been with them for 5 years - have you moved, or upgraded to broadband?0

BT are the only provider that has to allow you to cps your calls to someone else. Any new landline provider will normally carry out a check and in view of the arrears its unlikely they would accept you until they are cleared.0

I have been with aol paying 17.99 a month for my internet for about 5 years and in Jan started looking at other deals and as we were thinking of buying a laptop and were happy with our internet from aol we took up the 18 month contract with the wireless broadband, calls and laptop.LBM-29/08/07
