When my grandad passed away, i could always smell his pipe tobacco at odd times. Once i was having a really bad day in class..and i smelled it.. i know it sounds daft, but it really relaxes me..and i feel comforted by it. Over the years there has been a few things.

I still smell my mum's perfume from time to time too Bob, it's lovely.

The funniest thing we blamed my mum for was one night when DH fell asleep at work. He swears he was woken up by an almighty slap across his face (he works night, locked in completely on his own). This happened just before his boss arrived, and probably saved him from losing his job. I said she would've loved to do that when she was alive, and obviously took the opportunity when she could :rotfl: :rotfl:

bubbles ~ should I be scared that I know EXACTLY where you are coming from ;)

I am also with you all on the *little things* convo (that I have missed doing my online shopping ;)). I often smell my gran and my Uncle (her son/mums brother (who I havent seen for 15 years)) came today. He hugged me and held my hand for hours and I really felt that she [gran] was there with us. I suppose to take mum to be with them :D (Does that even make sense? It does in my head :o

Answer generally given to that question:

I'm ok, bearing up, you know.

    Real answer:

I'm numb, I cant deal with it, I darent think about it coz that means dealing and that hurts too much.

I have to go back to work tomorrow too as my employers are wuckfits

    AAAAH wuckfit employer wuckfits
btw you dont have to deal with 'it' straight away
there is no timeline on dealing with anything emotional, you just go through the motions whatever they maybe and when
you are bound to be numb thats a given, cant believe you have to go back now
it might be ok though, ease you back to the real world a bit, just take it easy, whats your job(apart from being a wuckfits minion!)
