I have tried loads of times and its always been pants but I seem to have cracked it now.
Boil rice as normal
Fry/cook whatever veggies you are gonna add (peppers, onions, peas, celery, etc)
I only use meat thats already cooked - ie left over roast, meat from chicken legs, etc.
When rice is cooked drain and sprinkle with a chinese oxo cube or five spice seasoning, salt & pepper.
Spray a large wok with fry light. Crack in egg and stir until a la scrambly
Add veggies and meat and stir for about a minute
Add rice a bit at a time and stir continuously. When all rice is in splash very generously with soy sauce. Stir for another 1-2 minutes.
Eat & Enjoy.
I made some more today and have definitley nailed it
Also made some leek and potato soup which should be a good filler on a *green* day

I prefer cooking to baking but the girls love to bake.
