  • Sorry to hear MB not feeling great at the moment. That must be tough on you all.

Definately may need to get that can out to deal with the wuckfits!

Also can I have your egg fried rice recipe? I tried once and failed. Its a weakness of mine that I send OH up to the chinese for once in a while (ok 2-3 times a month).

I have tried loads of times and its always been pants but I seem to have cracked it now.

    Boil rice as normal
Fry/cook whatever veggies you are gonna add (peppers, onions, peas, celery, etc)
I only use meat thats already cooked - ie left over roast, meat from chicken legs, etc.

When rice is cooked drain and sprinkle with a chinese oxo cube or five spice seasoning, salt & pepper.

Spray a large wok with fry light. Crack in egg and stir until a la scrambly ;)

Add veggies and meat and stir for about a minute

Add rice a bit at a time and stir continuously. When all rice is in splash very generously with soy sauce. Stir for another 1-2 minutes.

    Eat & Enjoy.

I made some more today and have definitley nailed it ;)

Also made some leek and potato soup which should be a good filler on a *green* day :D

I prefer cooking to baking but the girls love to bake.

In fact, they have all the gear to make a big fat chocolate cake tomorrow - how do I explain that at fat fighters ;)
