Gatwick Hotel with Parking near north terminal

Does anybody know of a cheapish hotel with parking which is near the north terminal, I know there is the one that interconnects with the terminal - le meridien ?? - but it is £180 with 8 days parking, I was looking to pay about £100.

Hi Katy,

I highly recommend https://www.gable-end.com - they are a B & B and they will provide transportation to Gatwick (only a five minute drive away). I've stayed there twice and there is a decent pub down the road which serves meals until late, if you are also looking for a place to have an evening meal.

They charged us £3 per day for parking on site.

0n 24th July 2005 I stayed at the Springwood guest house which is about 3 minutes from the Gatwick North Terminal before flying out to the USA.

Rooms OK and good quick free shuttle bus to and from either terminal of the airport.
I enquired via e-mail link on website and was offered 10% discount for online booking.

Ye Old Six Bells public house about half a mile away does very nice meals.

note Car parking is £2.50 per night

We stayed at an airport in Feb before we went to New York - but unfortunately I cannot remember what it was called. I know we only paid £80 for the night, and the parking was free for the week. If my OH comes in and can remember I will post the name of it, sorry.

just want to say thanks for the tip ... i sold my tesco purple parking vouchers on ebay and we used springwood, clean and friendly service, had a good sized family room, and had a good nights sleep. thats from my son, daughter & hubby, definately recommend, so thanks for sharing. x
