hi,
i was wondering what program would be best for me to use to edit out bits from a film i have on my laptop?
all i want is a simple program that will do the job well.
i have the film in two bits and they dont run straight into one another, there is a part that is repeated in the middle where the 2 are meant to join so i am wanting to edit this bit out.
Thanks for any help,
Andy

Hi, I use Pinnacle Systems Studio Version 9. It is fanatastic. I started with a free trial which they sent me then upgraded to the full version. There are some on ebay but make sure you get the full version not an upgrade add on.
If you want to try, they now do a free download at
http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/uk/Products/Consumer+Products/Home+Video/Studio+Family/Studio+version+9+Documents/Try+it+now_/Studio+9+trial+download.htm
hope the link works, if not go to https://www.pinnaclesys.com and click on studio 9.
You can do basic things like edit the bit you want in your movie or even add your own music etc, the possibilities are endless and it is very easy to use.0 -
Ulead Video Studio 9 is also well worth a look, as is Adobe Premiere Elements.
Both are available as free trials for a month from their respective websites.
I used Pinnacle Studio 8 and found it so unreliable that I had to ditch it and start again. Maybe version 9 is better...0
