    there might be one more cut this year but the BoE are still keen to keep inflation below target so won't want to encourage too much consumer spending. personally i reckon they will stay on hold for the rest of the year unless the housing market starts to drop again...

    I'd be surprised if there were any more cuts this year, if inflation continues to rise they could well go back up again IMHO

    I think you overestimate the attention the BoE pays to the housing market. If there are inflationary signals, they will increase interest rates even if the housing market is collapsing.
