hey, still nothing to report but i have found a whole bunch of my boyfriends old playstation games and I am going to help him sell them (for a tiny bit of commission i think :p) but I don't know where would be best to sell them, playtrade, ebay, amazon, trade them in the gameshop for credit...!!? can anyone give me a rough idea about how the fees for amazon and playtrade stackup?!
    Thanks loads in advance
    Tink x

Hi Tink, can i give you a bit of advice about Ebay and seeling your games:-

1 - list them on a Thursday for 10 days, that way you get 2 weekends and catch the people that only look at their email/surf then, those that either do not have the net at work, not allowed to use work net for personal use or work outside

2 - list games individually, if you don't have the manuals, see if you can download them free from the game site or anywhere else on the net

3 - before listing, I would watch some, to see what they are going for and look at the completed listing section, which shows those that have and haven't sold

    Good luck

I remembered I had a free delivery from my organic veg box scheme, saving £14.80.

Also found £1 on the street (actually my dear partner did, but kindly donated it to the cause!).

I have just arranged transfer of my winnings from Betfair - how is it that they were quite happy to accept my bet and my deposit, but suddenly need to validate my age before they'll pay out?

I'm still lagging behind! Got two more mystery shops lined up today, but won't see the money for ages! I'm going to my Mum's on Thursday to "clear out" my old room, so hopefully will be able to put lots on ebay at the end of the week and at least look as if I'm making progress!

Right, gonna get cracking on this tonight.

I have decided that my £10 needs to come from extra sources each day, and not the assets I am already selling like my Van and Stock.

I got a quote to lower my car insurance last night and it came up around £150-200 cheaper, so thats first on my list.

Any website pointers to start with would be great, I have an ebay account and will be looking for stuff to put on there to add to my total, and will be reading this thread thoroughly.

Any website pointers would be great though!!!

  • yipppeeee I have just won £46 on works bonus ball. Bearing in mind I have only paid in £8 since I started thats a good return so far. Going to put £35 of it towards my ikea bill and the remainder towards any bits I need to pay out on this week.
So far I am up on where I should be by now, going to put some more bits on ebay today and have some bits that finish tomorrow.

hi all! well so far today ive made 15p lol! However some money i was waiting for has finally come through (more than i thought!!) and after paying my mint and asda off as planned (when the cheque clears!) i will have...........£300 left can i include this money in my challenge? If so i have completely smashed the target!

My next task is to claim my credit card charges back (from mint, hsbc and my asda storecard) have looked on the reclaiming charges thread but so far have no replies. Can anyone who has claimed from these companies pm me pls as i have some questions to ask!

Now, should I do those sites again under my OH name or from a diff email address, what do people think?

You don't know who is looking at this site so I wouldn't talk about that unless you use our very sophisticated b0ngo:rotfl:words and such. Just in case they cotton on and prevent that loophole for future sign-ups
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

    Good afternoon everyone :D
I've already done more than my £10 for today but going to keep going as I'm still a bit behind overall :o
    So far today I've got.....
    £10 Sainsburys vouchers from Toluna
75p from a Valued Opinions survey
5p that I found on the floor of a taxi

Not sure if I'm going to spend much more time today earning money, but I am in the process of listing a MASSIVE amount of stuff on GreenMetropolis, Amazon and PlayTrade, so hopefully some of that will sell this month :p
Still putting off attempting Ebay, mostly because I've no idea what to put on and a bit wary of having to pay a fee whether it sells or not
I might have a very large amount of money coming in soon though as I've got some rare collectors stuff to sell and a friend is putting me in touch with an interested party. Even better though, is that I didn't pay a penny for the stuff!! I found it all stored in the cellar of my flat when I moved in, checked with the landlord but he said the last tenant scarpered so I could do what I wanted with anything I found as he obviously wouldn't be coming back for it!! :j Will let you know how it goes, but it could be enough to cover the £10 per month challenges for the rest of the year!! Hehehehehehe :rotfl: :D :rotfl: :D :rotfl: :D :rotfl:
