Play.com only charge you fees for each item you sell so it costs nothing to list and they stay on there for ages and ages (although they state a certain length of time, mine are still selling from 6 months ago).
You search your item by ISBN number then choose a condition, write one line description, set your price (inc P&P) and thats it!
What are the fees for using PlayTrade?
Our fees are an incredibly low 10% commission plus 50p per completed sale. If you plan to sell a lot of items we recommend you apply to become a ProTrader. A ProTrader does not incur the 50p closing fee and can list as many items as they want. A ProTrader account costs £19.99 per month.
If you decide to transfer your cash to your bank account there is a 5% transfer fee on the balance you choose to transfer. However if you spend the money at Play.com there is no charge, saving you the 5% transfer fee altogether!
Full information about PlayTrade fees can be found in Fees Guidelines.
You can list 100 items at any time without being a Pro Trader. As soon as I sell one, I put another one on in its place as I have loads of CDs, DVDs and books i don't wantNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

I've not sold on Amazon yet - ask me in a couple of weeks as I am setting up an online charity bookshop for work.
I decided to use Play.com because I use it more for buying anyway but I would be very interested to know which is more profitable.
There is definately less competition on Play.com which is good for meNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
I've just had my very first Amazon sale!!! £5.81 towards this month's total. I also made some changes to our mortgage, which only take effect from April. So, I have already got £46.68 of my £150 target!!!:j
I think I am going to enjoy this!0 -
Hiya -every month I do this challenge but never get to posting results. Well I'd like to be included this month, although things will be really slow as I have two weeks with the children and a UK break to fund. In March I managed £569.55 so I could always cheat and roll some over into April
One day I'll get my signature sorted too:o
good luck everyone for April...0 -
OK, sign me up for this one. I'll aim for the £10 a day. £300 would make a big difference this month.
I've got some books to put on Green metropolis / Amazon
A redundant savings account I didn't even remember about, to transfer to current accout.
Pigsback points coming along nicely, so should be able to get a £10 voucher for this month.
Good luck to all.One half of the world cannot understand the pleasures of the other0 -
