 I'm just back from posting a couple of Lidl bags full of eBay parcels and they'll bank in April so I feel like I've got a head start.
(They love me in the Post Office and I am in no way personally responsible for the high turnover of counter staff in my local branch. )
A couple of weeks ago I opened an eBay shop and it's definitely been busier since then. I can't get my head round the new fees though, and I'm going to have to adjust my postage to take account of the Royal Mail price rises as well, but I feel like I'm off to a good start.

Hello! Can I sign up again for £5 this month? Thank-you!
Can I ask... How long does it take to put an ebay listing up roughly? As you can tell I'm pretty clueless about ebay and have only just set "foot" on there for the 1st time in 4.5 yrs on Saturday :rotfl: Does Turbolister make it much faster? Where do you get turbolister from? I have a few bits that I would like to try and ebay on Thurs if I get the courage and time and this might help. Does it cost to download/access/use?
Sorry for all the questions...Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Hi taka - producing a listing for ebay takes me about 5/10 mins but when I started out it took me much longer so it depends how much practice you've had really.
For Turbo Lister go to the "Sell" page on ebay and you can download it from "seller tools". Using turbo lister is much quicker and you can do it all offline at any time then upload when you want to. Here it is: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/turbo_lister/index.html
I find Turbo Lister much much faster, especially if you have a dial-up internet connection. On turbo lister everything is done on one page rather than going through about five pages when you list something live on ebay.
No cost to download turbo lister or use it - ebay want you to use it so you upload more items so its one of their free tools to help you.
I hope that all makes sense - not very good at explaining thingsNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

Taka, I really recommend turbolister, means you can write up your listings whenever you want and either schedule them to start at a reasonable time or manual upload listings when you want to. If I didn't use turbolister I'd never sell anything as I write up most of my listings in the early hours of the morning
I use it for my own auctions but for business listings I just do it straight onto ebay and edit a listing as I go along. My boyfriend hasn't use ebay in donkeys and last night took an hour to list some silly boy car thing (I have finally managed to get him to realise he has far to much car stuff :j )
Still keeping going myself, eerrrmmmm I hope this keeps up cause it's not even April till tomorrow :rotfl:
