  • As I am only counting money when it hits the bank account I have failed miserably this month as work haven't paid my overtime this month. Will exceed next months target though :) .will have to work out what I have actually made although it won't be much because I am not counting ebay as that is a different challenge.

I have failed miserably this month. I made £15 at a bootfair yesterday so thats all i have done.

Mainly because i have been ill for 3 weeks.

BUT i will be back on track for the May one!

Horseowner - You beat me to it :D

Sold an item on buy it now through the night so will have around a tenner to add once it's posted, will update sig later.

Finally got some sense out of muppet US buyer. I did submit a bit and said he could send payment in dollars so long as he sent the extra to cover the charges I'll have as apparently none of the banks in his city will give him pounds sterling  It got rather heated the more and more annoyed I got, especially when he told me my payment terms were awful!!!

Anyway, he closed the dispute, woohoo! Got a very nice email from ebay, a personal one for a change! And the lady was very sympathetic and said she had passed it on to the relevant people. Don't think I'll have any more problems with this guy though as he suddenly turned nice when I said he could pay in dollars and "hoped we could have a good transaction again"

    More rambling, sorry! :o

Oooohhh, got asked to do 2 hours overtime tonight, which is rather unusual for my work! Means I'm getting all my business stuff done just now so I can crash when I get in tonight. Won't count that till next month though as it won't come through till then!

Have a GREAT few last days people :j

however muc extra you make, i don't think it should be classed as a failure at all, yeah you didnt make your target but all challenges are personal and every little helps! some of the targets are quite big in this challenge but the way I see it, without the challenge I would probably have £0 extra so at least now we all have something extra :)

I know you are right, but i think this month has been pretty rubbish for me, so i felt a bit down! Am feeling better now that I know i am going to be selling bits on ebay as of tonight, and also that my debt is below £10K

5p listing day on ebay on thursday :)
    :j :j :j :j :j :j :j
How long I have waited!!! Time for some serious Ebaying, hope it's a good offer and not one with lots of T&Cs - must investigate! Thanks for the tip.

Amy, well done on getting down to 4 figures on the debt - that's definitely not failure!

Tink, have PM'd you re the Mysearch business - ta!

Clair, all I can say about matched betting is to read the thread on the gambling board, over and over and over. Once you've got the hang of it, do the easy bookies through Quidco. That was the stage I got to before I lost the momentum. I've dabbled a little since, but it's fairly time consuming and you've got to be in the right frame of mind. (Hypno, can you please put me in your frame of mind? :D )
