Firstly well done Batgirl on your win:j

I have gathered some more piggypoints - some free and some from buying from Amazon.

I am getting 6 free business courses because I am setting up on my own - I hate to think how much they would cost (thank you Bham Chamber of Commerce:D ) - one down, 5 to go.:j I know its not free money but it help me to make oodles of money.

:hello: all! Well managed to smash the £300 by working day off today+ a little overtime making over £61,but I'm not needed to work my day off Monday, which would have made me £62:huh: :( ! Also received a cheque from Npower for £15.94 as we were in credit with electricity before we switched suppliers ages ago. Finally got round to phoning them about it the other day,as they didn't send it out automatically. If anyone else is in credit & have switched suppliers & not received anything please phone your utility company. By the looks of it they wil try to get away with not sending you what they owe you:naughty: ! Good luck all!

No more cash made today, feeling poo now as hubby and i just calculated how much we spend on drink (him) and fags (me) in total over 12 months its over 2k - that is a huge amount of money!!!!!!!

He has said that he is going to split his in half by taking half of the money he has left everymonth and putting it on to one of the 2 credit cards which is great, and im doing the sealed pot challenge as well as this one and trying to build some savings to get rid of a lump sum on one of the cards at some point before christmas.

But, i think its time for me to become a moody cow again and give up smoking, all i have been thinking over the last hour since we calculated it is that £670 a year on fags is a huge amount.

Even if i can cut down that is better than nothing, so annoyed with myself for having no will power and for having a dirty stinking habit.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Sorry, needed to vent, am off to tesco now, starting my chant already

"i will not by anything i dont need,"

It just shows how much fags & booze adds up & well done to you & hubbie for doing something about it. We spend probably around £1k-£1.5k a year on booze which is also a huge amount. OH also smokes & all of her £20 that we allow ourselves each week goes on fags. She has cut down big time & I would love her to give up completely,as she could use the £20 for small treats instead or could save up for things she wants with it,but it's her choice at the end of the day & she realises that she cannot have any extra cash to buy more if she happens to run out,so makes sure that she doesn't smoke more than 10 a day at the most. My Uncle & Auntie gave up smoking a while ago. They gave up & put the equivalent amount to a pack of fags in a big whisky bottle, bagging the change & taking it to the bank every time they filled the bottle. After 3 years they saved £11k & bought a brand new car with it! It just goes to show!! Good luck!
