I have a video file [.avi format] and I need part of it for a presentation.
I tried HP split/join software which allows splitting based on the file size.........but is it possible to split the file from a particular point to other /For example from min 2.34 to 2.45?
Would the split file be in the avi format?
Please help

Cutting an AVI file is easy with the free VirtualDub. Note it's not always possible to cut exactly on a per second basis - it depends on where the keyframes are.

You can do it in video editing software. I've got Windows Moviemaker; there must be some freeware equivalent.Happy chappy0
