My Mum brought a 'rescue oil' from her local wilkinsons and she said although its not exactly the same as 'bio oil' for the price its worth trying to see what you think.LBM-29/08/07

I feel tat my skin is more supple, and have even skin tone all over my face.
I use to b4 using the oil wake up with dry patches on my cheeks even if i had applied face cream the nite b4.
I use a light day cream in the morning and tat is enough to keep my skin mousitered through to the night.A smile and manners doesnt cost any thing0 -
I use the Rescue Oil for my dry skin, and I have found a big improvement in it. I buy it from Home Bargains, £1.99

I bought a 60ml bottle of Bio-Oil from ebay for £3 and its doing wonders for my spot scars aswell as dry skin. Its sort of like a moisturiser for me now. Anywho... my mum was impressed with the results i was getting and bought some rescue oil, she says it isn't as good as Bio-Oil, but it does the job and she can feel it smoothening her skin already. I've tried the rescue oil and it seems watered down compared to Bio-Oil. But if you can get it at Poundland like my mum did, you can't really complain

Thanks for all the tips on the rescue oil - bought some today in wilkinsons for £1.89. They also had the bio oil for like £7.60 or so, compared the ingredients list & bio oil is better with retinol palmitate listed for starters, which the rescue oil doesn't contain, but for the price I'm willing to give it a try & see how I get on!0

It's strange seeing a product feted as a cheaper substitute for Bio Oil - which itself was first a sensational discovery for ladies spending umpteen pounds on a few mills of Decleor's "aromessences". Whatever next?

Quality Save / Home Bargains has the real Bio Oil for £5.99 (its in the display cabinet with very-well-priced perfumes). The £1 shops are selling the Rescue oil (its £1, LOL).0

Hi Chris... i use it twice a day on my face/neck and sometimes my body. Depending how dry my skin is. Its a fantastic moisturiser, and smells nice(you only need to use a small amount). It can also reduce the look of scars/stretch marks over time if used regularly. I personally recommend it. Although i havent tried the other cheaper brand similar to 'Bio Oil' so i cant advise you on that, Sorry.0
