Bio Oil Copy?

I found this Rescue Oil yesterday at Savers. It seem to me to be exactly the same thing as Bio Oil but only £1.49 for 75ml! I am delighted with it, so thought I would share;)

  • Thanks Gatita, any idea what it's called or is it just Rescue Oil? I've wanted to try Bio Oil for ages, but it's expensive and I would probably forget to use it, but £1.49 isn't such a scary sum to part with!

Thanks OP, I'll give Rescue Oil a try. If it works half as well as Bio Oil it will be a most welcome saving. :T

If these copies are just as good why is the full sized bio-oil £20?

I have no idea why the difference in price, but for example, look at the many brand products against the supermarkets own brand?

i found some at semichem ( thinks its a scottish brand cheap chemist) for £1.99 75ml.
Placed on the shelf beside the bio oil.
Compairing the 2 products, rescure oil has only 8 ingredients where as bio oil as 26 .
rescure oil is darker in colour compaired to bio.
feels the same applied, very similar benefits. But smell different.
bio oil contains the breakthrough ingred purcellin oil.
the smell swings it slighty for me to prefer bio oil, but the price of the other one is very good if does the same job.
So as a moneysaver i would go with Rescue oil.

Thanks to OP for this find.

I have twice found Bio Oil at 4.99 in Home and Bargains in Preston. The first time I just bought one bottle but soon realised what a bargain it was. I kept popping in and it was there again after a few weeks so I got two this time. Enough to keep me going for a while anyway! Hope you find it if you have a store near you. These stores are sometimes called Halfpriceorless.
