car air freshener search???

Options
hi folks, i was wondering if anyone knows where I can get an car freshener called Auto expressions can-o-scent in new car fragrance? my OH has searched high and low for it. We found some on amazon in USA but the postage price is twice the cost of the can and also and ebay usa but again the postage is too high.
if anyone knows where we can find this in the UK we'd be grateful
thanks folks , Lainey.;);)

im sure you can find some of the auto expressions range in asda and tesco, this is the same company that make those blue dolphins you see dangling from folks mirrors.

i guess this is an aerosol you are looking for?
ive never seen anything from this company in this form in asda or tesco, may be worth a look the next time you are in though.

  • hi goldspanners, thanks for your reply. the freshener is actually a liquid-soaked gauze in a tin which you pull a ring pull lid off and then stand the can under your seat with a velcro sticky pad. there are a few places that sell the auto expressions range but the 'new car' smell is impossible to find.

im guessing you have tried a few different manufacturers and found this to be the best?
i will keep my eyes peeled for this one!

this one is $9.60,which works out roughly £4.80,if it is long lasting and very good then it may not be too bad, considering what poppy corals retail at and i think these are rubbish.

£4.80 delivered aint bad is it? think how much it would cost to drive around halfords and such like and put money in the car park

chances are it would be here as quikc as a uk seller, i had a item get here in 3 days from usa

i doubt you will better that deal and only by a few pennys of you do

Never really understood car air fresheners...surely if you keep your car clean it won't smell?

Have you ever tried those air fresheners at petrol stations - the ones where it comes out of a big hose? Saw one the other day and was intrigued by it. They even had new car smell!

Its like wearing aftershave, even although you are clean its still good to smell nice.

  • hullight, goldspanners is right, don't you wear aftershave aftershave or deodorant!!if you haven't got anything useful to contribute, don't bother!
My OH is always complimented on how immaculate he keeps his subaru, he just doesn't like the fruity and piney smells and this particular one is hard to find.

goldspanners, thanks for the support! I emailed the company on amazon USA about getting half a dozen cans delivered but they replied saying they are not posting to UK at the moment ...ah well, we'll keep trying. OH has remembered that he once got a can of this in Cyprus so is going to ask a mate who lives out there if he can get us some.
