Advice please on carpet cleaning systems

Hello
Could anyone give me some advice on what they think is the best carpet cleaning system (ie. a VAX) and also where they think I may get the best price? I'm getting tired of paying someone £30 a room to clean my carpets every 6 months.....

Any advice appreciated! Thanks!

Jenni

I will hasten to add that the most important factor is your cleaning solution, anyone who says otherwise simply doesnt understand what is going on!
    2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.

hi there, ive got a vax and i have found that it cleans the carpets well however it does seem to leave the carpets damp for a while longer than when you pay to have them done by a pro. If we didnt have children this wouldnt be a problem but my two havent yet learned to levitate from the garden to their seats in the lounge . :)
:EasterBun ...what more do I need to say?!
its all in the name of medical science.

I do mine last thing at night on a week day, then it at least has all night to dry and most of the next day with the children at school.
