Advice please on carpet cleaning systems

Hello
Could anyone give me some advice on what they think is the best carpet cleaning system (ie. a VAX) and also where they think I may get the best price? I'm getting tired of paying someone £30 a room to clean my carpets every 6 months.....

Hi J enni , I have got a Vax 6151 and I can't fault it.
I found it on ebay,brand new, for about £130 .:D0 -
I will hasten to add that the most important factor is your cleaning solution, anyone who says otherwise simply doesnt understand what is going on!2 + 2 = 4

hi there, ive got a vax and i have found that it cleans the carpets well however it does seem to leave the carpets damp for a while longer than when you pay to have them done by a pro. If we didnt have children this wouldnt be a problem but my two havent yet learned to levitate from the garden to their seats in the lounge .

I do mine last thing at night on a week day, then it at least has all night to dry and most of the next day with the children at school.0
