I've seen them in Lidl occasionally for about a tenner. Also receives time info from the Rugby transmitter, so self adjusts.

I guess a lot depends on what features you want.

Maplin do a range of them, the cheapest of which is on sale right now at £30, which is half the retail price. Their order code is N91FX.

Others in the range go up to about £100, but you do of course get more features.

Bit off topic but wasn't the Rugby signal taken over by Anthorn in Cumbria?

This place is very good (here) to give you some ideas.

I've got a wireless Oregan Scientific WMR928 system myself which covers all aspects of the weather that you need through various wireless sensors. Not being a weather 'geek' but it does get quite interesting when the weather gets extreme (eg very windy or very cold etc) to see how everything changes. The sytem always becomes a talking point for anyone coming to visit us.

You can also connect most systems to a computer and use a program called 'Weather Display' which you can find on the net to give you some form of trending etc.
