Equity Red Star -or- Kinetic Underwriting?

I have been searching for renewal quotes for my jap import.
Most firms dont want to know, I'm used to that.

My two best quotes are my renewal with Adrian Flux who offer me insurance via Kinetic Underwriting.
The other is with Caravan Club who offer me insurance via Equity Red Star.

Neither of these mean anything to me. Does anyone know if one is better to deal with than the other?

Adrian Flux is a company of insurance advisors who specialise in insuring vehicles that other insurers may not want to deal with. Flux deal with 4x4 off road vehicles,classic cars, vehicles over 15 years old, camper vans & many other non mainstream vehicles. Flux set up motor insurance policies with various insurance companies.

Equity Red Star offer motor insurance & also underwrite motor breakdown & recovery packages for other insurance companies.

Have seen Equity Red Star policys through work.. Believe they underwrite out of LLoyds in London. Think it was a rental car policy. check the lloyds website for info.

The private car stuff isn't done through lloyds. It's through their brentwood office. They're a decent company though.

Thanks for that. Sounds like the CC will get my cash in that case.

I hear a lot of air being sucked through teeth when Flux get mentioned - always worries me if the need for a claim ever happened!! :eek:
