Our aga pilot light will only relight when cold. You can light it but when you release the control knob after a minute it will go out again.
I have had the thermocouple changed on the pilot. Any ideas
Also it is very tempermental to wind conditions and often blows out.
Hope someone can help.

Hi
A balanced flue Aga is room sealed and should not be influenced by windy conditions.
Was the person who changed the thermocouple an approved Aga engineer ? Has it been serviced by an Aga engineer? I do have an idea what the problem is but it involves gas so am reluctant to say .
