Bought a car bulb kit in London, given wrong item
Got pulled over where I live Wednesday night for having a headlight out. I thought I had a spare at home, but did not. Thursday I was travelling to London from about 7am to 1am today, so I had to buy a bulb in London. Went to a peugeot dealer and asked for a headlight bulb for a 206. Got asked the reg year and all that. The guy who served me said I should buy a kit because a bulb is £9 and a kit is £12.99, so I went for the kit. Having got back on the train I went to my car to replace the buld before driving home, and found the bulb did not fit!
Is there anything I can do to get my money back or a replacement, short of paying £25 to go to London and back?
I paid cash

are you sure it doesnt fit??
try going to your local peugeout dealer and explain the situation and they may be able to fit it for you or advise you if it actually is the incorrect one
or just go to a local mechanic and ask them to check0 -
you should have went to a motor factors for a bulb rather than a dealer,it would have been cheaper.
as you were changing the headlight bulb this will have been the halogen type, are you sure you didnt touch the glass on the bulb? what kind of bulb is it H7, H4,H1?
did it match the bulb you took out?
were you changing the correct bulb?...work permit granted!0
