You will also need something for primary ID, if you dont have a passport then ask if you can you use a P2 tax code notification from the inland revenue, just give them a ring and request one of these, I have used this in the recent past.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Some accounts do electronic checks only, and no ID is needed.
I would imagine that you would need to be on the electrol roll for them to do this though.
I have recently opened an account with A&L and they didnt ask for any id at all.0 -
Do you work as a security guard or do you have photo ID related to your job-some banks will accept an SIA licence (bouncers, security guards and anyone in the protection industry will have one) or like a prev poster said, a P2 from the inland revenue should be ok-or a letter of entitlement to benefit dated within the last 3 months-the list is endless honestly!Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
All debt consolodated and cards destroyed!!

don't understand why you don't want to show the pp or d/l to open the account.
there are banks that allow you to open the account just with pp (as long as it is UK passport and in date) or just with d/l (as long as it's a photocard and in date and shows your current address). barclays is one of them. i think lloyds allows that as well.0 -

most companies do now use services like Experian to "Money Launder Check" their clients. They have to cover all bases to ensure that nothing dodgy is going onHi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
