I recently applied for a virgin credit card online. After submitting the application, i was told a decision would be made within 7 days. Today i recieved a text message saying
"Thanks for taking out a vigin credit card. We've popped your pin in the post, and you'll get your card and credit limit in the next 10 days too."
Has anyone had a text message response to a credit card application? How generous are they with thier credit limits?

Nothing more than the usual. I had the normal "how are you going to pay the account if you lose your job" etc when trying to sell me it.
I wanted to set up a DD over the phone but it sounded like I was speaking to some foreign chap who was struggling to understand me so I didn't bother. I have been through to somewhere in the UK when I called another time though.
I've never had any texts from them other than the ones as you mentioned.0
