Baby due in a few weeks. We're considering stem cell storage.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Am concerned that a lot of these private clinics (many found simply by googling) are rip-offs.
All experiences/information gratefully received.

They've found the firm fine to use - otherwise they wouldn't have used it more than once. They pay an initial amount for the kit, then only pay the bigger amount (paid in installments) once the unbilical cord cells have successfully frozen.

I did a fair bit of research on this topic a couple of months back, i believe there is a lot of sites out there offering information but you might want to try Stem Cell Storage.
It is a site i come across that provide excellent information on stem cell storage and stem cell storage services, they also seem to support smartcells.com. I received more information from them and smart cells by filling in a form, they advised me with my best interests in mind. Hope this helps.0
