Alton Towers tickets from the Sun..has everyone received theirs?

Mine arrived this week too. Mid September - as no kids in toe, great for me Just hope not too many people go there on a Tuesday, AND all the rides I want are open!

I doubt people would give them away free when people are selling them on ebay and making a profit from them... But I guess its worth a try!! There are some on ebay for £18 which is good... (Even though they were free!!)

i just recieved mine today, so there is still hope good date for me as well 14/09/08 so very pleased that we will actually be able to go. just have to pay hotel and food and thats it.

I booked in for a travel lodge.. Cost £39!!! and its a services.. so there is places to eat also!! Bargain!!

Just realised, through Quidco.. you get 3.4% back on a travel lodge stay!! Hope this helps you guys!! p.s.. its about 5-7 miles away from Alton Towers...

I know that ebay had some up for auction, that were actually for a Swap.. So perhaps you could look there... or better still.. Sell your tickets on Ebay and then buy new ones for your specific date of choice!!

I received my about three weeks ago and my son and girlfriend used them today! They had a great time - doesn't open till 10am, but they arrived early (not too much traffic about) and was let in about 9.30 and had a great day.

I got mine for monday the 31st a few weeks ago and took my little brother and we had a great time! He got the extra week off school because its private and i was off uni so it was perfect. all the other kids back at school, no queues, no rain !! it was a great offer for me so thanks everyone!

Still nothing, and checked that they were delivered (PO tracking)..says March 3rd.

I don't suppose there is any support for a freebie?

makes no odds if the school is private! All children are allowed 10 school days a year for holiday

And mine have a day off sick for something like this.

I'd never pay for education. Nor would I ever pay for tuiton. I help my kids myself. My DD got 98% in her 11 plus exam with no tuiton at all. My DS will take his in 2 yrs and he wont have any tuiton either.

But I'll take em to alton towers on a school day if want!! Fingers crossed for no queues. We wanna whizz round Rita, clamber on the corkscrew, fly round air and whoop on nemesis!!
Oh and then there's the heart stopping oblivion. Still tremble thinking about that. The fear is worse than the actual ride!
