Yes, I think I got it when you posted about the forts/quilts. First thought was 'well what was he using for the supports'
And if your quilt has gone you are in trouble!!!

This is interesting.. I had a cash account with Lloyds before I went bankrupt, no debit card, no cheque book etc.. I opened up a coop account the day I went BR but by reading this I might not have needed to. The only thing I can see though is No direct debits? This is different from a normal cash account as I had them coming out ok.
Will pop into my branch later to see what they say as it looks like i might have two accounts now!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

Hi,
The usual basic Lloyds account does permit DD's and SO as usual.. If there was insufficient funds to cover the DD or SO then it would be rejected back to the company requesting and so you cant go overdrawn and therfore are always in credit.
It would certainly be worth a call or visit to check regarding the BR though...but im sure they only have the one style of Basic account.
Let us know.
Dave.

A couple of weeks ago I went into LTSB to apply for the basic account and the adviser I got said to me; if you'd of had an account with us,even if you went bankrupt. We would keep you on as a customer, just down grade the account. I went bankrupt nearly 4 years ago, had to get a new account. So that is pretty positive from LTSB:rolleyes:
However, LTSB turned me down for their basic account:mad:
Good Luck

If the OR hasn't specifically told you that you can use it, then officially it isn't yours any more even if it appears to still be open.
You would need to get the OK from the OR before you could consider using it.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
