Quite getting into this routine:
Done piggy comps
Checked on-line banking
Placed my next Avon order so fingers crossed everyone pays up to earn me some nice commission
Home made chips for tea so no takeaway cost
Done my cashback clicks
Looed as some other cashback sites to join but can't decide about Quidco (any pointers on this would be great)
All for now so fingers crossed it won't be too expensive over the weekend

Hi all!

Got my paycheque today and got paid for some unexpected overtime, plus got a quidco payment in my account, which has made me... :j
The first DFW thing I've done today is plan what payments I'll be making to c/c and savings with extra cash, rather than what handbag I can now afford. What a difference from a year ago
I have also:
checked online banking
done a paid survey... almost got enough for a voucher, which is exciting
answered some questions from potential ebay bidders
bought a reduced bottle of wine rather than a full price one :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a great Friday night!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 550

- will update monthly spreadsheet and sort out annual spends one as it's not quite right
- stop off on at designer outlet on way home and get a couple of prezzies I need to cheaply and hopefully get free thorntons egg.

Hello,
As with a lot of people on here today an unexpected £3 something from Quidco :j. This has been put into my Terramundi for the sealed pot challenge.
Today I have - not spent any money. Resisted the urge to:- Buy a bacon sandwich at work
- Buy a Vanilla Latte at work
- Buy a sandwich for lunch
- Go to the pub after work
- Made porridge amd honey for breakfast
- Stuck with the Vending machine coffee (I had a temping job at the company who makes the machine, so I know that they taste ok)
- Made a sandwich at home, and took that in with a bag of crisps (the sandwich bar charges 50p for a bag )
- I have come straight home after work, and intend putting on jogging bottoms and tidying up
and I worked out at lunchtime, that my mobile useage has gone down from £20 per month to about £10 per month - I am PAYG, so I will keep £20 in my budget for 'unexpected months' where I have to make loads of phone calls.
Have a great afternoon and evening everyone. Take care.Debts at the start of my journey - about £23,000 lightbulb moment 01.03.2007 (1st payment to CCCS)..Debt Free Date 25.06.2013 Deposit savings £17,000/£30,0000 -

Happy Friday everyone.
This is the first time I've posted on this thread, I hope I've got it right.
Today I have stayed at home and resisted the urge to just pop to the shop!
Took meat out of the freezer for dinner to save giving in to take out
I have made a rice pud as the milk needed using up - had all ingredients in cupboard
Put meat & veg in to cook slowly with the rice pud to save using oven twice
Used cold cycle on washing machine - works great with lightly soiled clothes
Made jelly for pudding - saving me from the ice-cream man!
Also knitting shrug from wool I've got stashed
Have a great evening allI won't buy it if I can make or borrow it instead
