Use of Visa Card in Norway

Hi all,
I'm in Norway at the moment, and it seems some places do not accept foreign Visa cards even though they accept Norwegian Visa cards. Does anyone know how common this is as I have a Nationwide Flex Account (with Visa Debit) and Credit Card (Visa).
Thanks

I go to Norway regularly and always use my visa. The only place I notice they only take norwegian is the supermarkets. I use mine in bars, restaurants, shops no problem.travelover0

Aha... well I was in a supermarket where they wouldn't let me. Also, tried to buy a month long bus ticket today but they wouldn't accept a credit card either. Quite a pain as money is currently being transferred between accounts!0
