Someone I work with came into work a few weeks ago after going to the gym. (On Wednesdays and Fridays she leaves the house at 6.15am to get to the gym before work.) She'd left the house with a bag of rubbish to put in the bin and her lunch. She managed to put her lunch in the bin and bring the rubbish to work.

She only told one person when she got in and wasn't very impressed that that person found it hilarious and told everyone else :D

Now that reminds me of something. Few years back, while a student, I spent a few days at a friend's house. When it was time to return back to my uni flat, I called a taxi, as it was late at night, there were no buses and had loads of stuff to carry. I had a big racksack and a large bin bag, both quite heavy.
Got back to my flat building, climbed up six flights of stairs to my flat, left my racksack and the bin bag inside and popped over to the kitchen for a drink. When I got back to my room, I noticed that something was not quite right with the bin bag. It turns out that while I was putting my racksack at the back of the taxi, my so called friends switched my bag with their rubbish! Not only I've spent a fiver taking their rubbish for a ride, I had to take it down those six flights of stairs to the bins outside and wasted most of my BT phonecard giving them a piece of my mind afterwards! Needless to say that they were laughing their heads off from the moment I left. I knew it was funny, but I was really crossed because money was tight and taxis, although cheap, were a luxury those days. Not to mention that I still had to get my stuff back.

Funnily enough, I do miss those days...

I did this in morrisons once, did a big shop and left one of the bags on the checkout. When we got home, we realised and rang the store. The checkout woman had handed it in to customer services. To save us the hassle of going back to pick it up morrisons actually sent out a cheque for the amount that we'd left behind. I thought that was very nice of them! :D I doubt Tesco would have done the same!
