I have 2 monitors and would love to run 2 different screen savers off them. Is there any free software that will allow me to do this?
Thanks

Out of interest why do you want to run screensavers, they're pretty moot nowadays?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I guess it'd depend on your graphics card's capability to start with."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

What screen burn? LCDs don't suffer from it by the way they work and all but ancient CRTs have had that problem reduced to zero for all practical purposes."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I was wondering whether it had two monitor outputs."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Yes, got my 2nd monitor working already and even got a wallpaper for it aswell. Just would like a screensaver.
I have found a bit of software called Ultramon but it only lets you choose 6/7 different ones i would really like to choose my own.
Thanks for your help0 -
Isn't this the Money SAVING Expert forums? Why run a screensaver when you can set your monitors to go into standby mode after a few minutes instead. Modern computer monitors use negligible power in standby mode (unlike many other consumer products) because of energy-efficiency labelling schemes going back many years. A modern computer monitor will be all but turned off when put in standby mode (very possibly using less than one watt of power), so why leave it running using a few tens of watts when you aren't using the computer for an extended period?
LCD displays and all but ancient CRT monitors are unaffected by burn-in (in all but the most extreme situations), so there is no harm in just setting them to switch to standby after say 30 minutes or so. The exception is if your computer was to be connected to a Plasma display-- they are susceptible to burn-in and should never be used for displaying static-images for any extended length of time.0
