Silly Jokes?

Hi,

know when you get all those silly jokes sent to you, which have been

'forwarded', to a multitude of folks, and you get a whole list of email

addresses attatched at the end of the joke, so anyone can see and use that

address for nefarious purposes if wished, is there any way I can stop my

email address being attatched, by the next person to send on the silly joke?

The way I see it is that my email address is being made public without my

permission.

In a word, no.

I now send jokes to others in my address book as Aknot does using the BCC facility.

This way when your email arrives it only has the senders address shown and an undisclosed addressee. No other address's are shown no matter how many address's have been written to.

It really annoys me when someone forwards emails to me and I have to open it three or four times before the main message appears.

This is because they forward the email whilst in the main viewing pane instead of forwarding the opened email and clearing off the other address's in that one view.

If I receive a message like that with a list of email addresses, I send a reply to every one, including the list, thanking the sender for the "spam list".
