Which ISA for this year?

I have around 10k in a bog standard HSBC graduate account and have realised that I should be making my money work a bit for me thanks to you guys.
So obviously I want to use up this years ISA allocation before it goes and was wondering which one is best. I have read around a little but theres so much information out there it all gets a little confusing, it seems that Barcleys tax haven at 6.5% seems a good choice or maybe the online egg account at 6.05%.
Hopefully I intend on buying a house in the not too distant future, end of 2008 beginning of 2009, so would maybe need some of this 10k for a deposit.
Any advice would be much appreciated as I am a little saturated from all the reading.
Thanks

I would perhaps bung it in a high interest savings account which you can withdraw money from if needed instead of an ISA, or just pop 3k into an isa then the rest in savings.0

I would put 3,000 into the Barclays Tax Haven now, and another £3,600 into the same after 6 April. In the meantime put the rest into a high interest saving account and drip feed from that into a higher interest regular savings account, and use that to fund your 09/10 ISA savings.Trying to take control of my home and belongings!0
