We are moving next month, and renting for six months. Can we get a phone line for six months, or will we be tied into a 12 month contract?

If the line only needs a restart then The Phone Co-op do 3 monthly contracts. The Post Office seem to do a "no minimum tie-in" contract but I haven't read through all the small print for any catches.“I look like Spiderman at a funeral”~ Karl Pilkington0

We are already with the Post Office Homephone, the first person I spoke to did not seem to have a clue what I was on about, however the second assured me the contract is just a month at a time. It just depends on the activation fees, there will be a line in the rental flat, but I don't know who is in charge of it, it might be BT, Talk Talk or anyone.0
