want to find dad

i thought i would be able to just type in name and maybe a few details and all information i wanted would bounce up on the screen. but what i am finding is requests for various amounts of money, even doing it on 192.com which i wrongly assumed would be free. even when title of search company says free, its still not free. i know name and town where he lives is there anyway i can find the name of road he lives in without it costing me a fortune or needing to appear on jeremy kyle lol

If you know the town, can you look on the electoral roll? Maybe the local council or social services can help??

  • It's also worth checking out Genes Reunited & Friends Reunited. We found my partner's mum after 41 years listed on there. It's been totally life changing & so positive for both of them. Through Genes Reunited we also found he had a lovely half sister (his dad had kept her secret throughout the rest of his life). We also found out a few other interesting "secrets/skeletons!"

Good luck with your search :)

Try googleing his name in inverted commas
If you know the town try the serch facility on the local newspapers website (he may have been in the paper recently)
    Bebo
    Directory enquiries
Some towns have a local phone directory, try and get a hold of a copy.
    That mrs macchicken to you!
