Ipod Nano - Help!

I have owned about 3 different MP3 players and all have been really simple to use.

I decided to buy an Ipod Nano and i'm finding it not very user friendly. It has automatically ended up with 600 incidental music files that were in a software programme and Im trying to get rid of them.

How do I delete them by using only the IPOD Nano itself?

Thanking you!

You don't...without resetting it that is...

You'll need iTunes or similar - could change the iPod to disk mode to manually manage files on it

But Disk mode doesn't give you access to music files from iTunes.
    The answer is "with iTunes".
