Self Employed - Can I get a credit card?

I'm self employed, does this mean it would be harder to get a 0% apr creditcard with which to transfer balances from and to?

    Well am self employed myself and i got a virgin MBNA, only £3000 though but better than nothing.

    Cousin who's self-employed with reasonable credit history, been in same house, same job and same bank for lots of years got a 10K limit on Virgin Money card.
