Ditching Lloyds

The time has come to move all my banking elsewhere.
My priorities are:-
1. Cash ISA rate (6%+)
2. General Customer Service (especially if no branch)
2. Ease of moving my current account, dd's etc. and day to day handling
4. Online Saver rate (5%+)
5. Current Account rate
I also don't want to have to be doing all this again any time soon for any of those reasons.
Thanks in advance

Based on having all that in one place, I would suggest LloydsTSB.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

really ?
my isa and online saver rates are pretty low.
i would consider simply changing isa provided and keeping the rest, but only if there was not a decent alternative to tempt me.:grouphug:

If you are after an all-in-one solution that you are going to have to accept compromises. You are not going to find one provider that excels in all areas.
Lloyds have an almost perfect current account in the classic plus and offer full banking facilities as well as a decent online service. Telephone is a bit weak but adequate. Lloyds is also one of the most financially secure banks in the UK.
The top savings rates providers will change often so you are either going to have to change with them or go with a more consistent, slightly lower return.if it helps, i have considered...

What about them makes you think they are better than Lloyds? At least then we can see what your priorities are.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). i see your point.
i was hoping to find a superior all rounder, but accept that compromises are a factor hense my priorities.
i suppose i would accept similar shortfallings if the ISA rate was high. so in a way i have answered my own question, i'd probably be best just moving my ISA.:grouphug:

I bank with Lloyds and a few years ago I was truly incensed by them and started to look around for alternatives. Came to the conclusion that, despite everything, their service was no worse than others re. the current account. I don't expect them to have good savings rates so take all my savings and ISA business elsewhere - except for the original 2-year regular saver. The website is very good. Dunstonh is right that you can't expect everything from the one bank.0
