ebay item not received

I won an item on ebay on 16 march, the said item stated 2nd class recorded, & so far the item hasn`t turned up, so I spoke to my postie, who is fab I have to add, to ask if he recalls anything recorded coming to me, & I wasn`t around when he tried to deliver, he said no, I have contacted my local sorting office, just incase & they have no record of anything being held at the sorting office, so I have contacted the seller to say , can you confirm that you have sent the item yet, as I hadn`t recieved it... No reply, that was two days ago, now I am new to this, do I wait or do I contact or what I do????

no reply and its been 11 days
okay there have been bank holidays but givewn there has been no contact i would file an item not recieved dispute to jar the seller into action

I just want to be as fair as I can be due to the easter holidays, but I have just checked & she/he has items listed....
I just really want the book.

Ok, this is interesting, I have just logged onto ebay & the seller has left positive feedback for me, even after I have made contact & told them I haven`t recieved the book.... which way do you think I should go??

Go into paypal and into dispute centre. Call up the payment an dopen a dispute..not a chargeback at this point. The disput eprocess is a way of corresponding with your seller through paypal safely, if they don't respond to that in a day or so then escalate the dispute to a chargeback.

update, seller has just come back to me & says that she can`t understand why I haven`t recieved my book, however I need to wait 15 days before she ca track it with royal mail, to be fair once its posted its out of her hands....

im all for giving sellers time when they have given decent communicationbut this one hasnt.
