car tax no reminder letter

Hi just a quick question as I cant make sense of the DVLA website!

Does anyone know if I can tax my car without a reminder letter as I recently moved, I guess the reminder letter got sent to the old address but now not sure what to do?

You can tax it using the V10 at a post office, details and post office branch finder here:

Take Insurance certificate, MOT, money, registration papers, to a main Post Office, fill in the appropriate form.- car taxed. Notify DVLA of change of address.

You can also do it online without the reminder, but you need the vehicle registration and the reference number on the front of the V5 logbook:

Yes but the new tax disc may then end up going to the old address
