insurance via quidco query

am looking for insurance for my dad. cheapest is churchill and bonus is going through quidco is enabling me further cashback.it says on quidco for a genuine transaction you can earn £70.
my question is will i earn the whole £70 or is it dependent on how much i am paying for the insurance?
for example the quote is for £350 . if i then get £70 back via quidco, this is taking my insurance price down to £280. which is great but do you think as i am getting the online discount as well, they may decline this?
thanks for your help, hope im making sense

You should get the whole £70.
Make sure you follow the help on quidco regarding cookies etc. to make sure it tracks.
It's not dependent on the cost or any other discounts.0 -
And he will only be getting £65. Every quidco member pays £5 each year membership fee (deducted from any cashback earned).0

Sorry I missed the bit about it being for someone else.
You Dad needs his own account which will cost £5 but it's very worthwhile in my view.
It could get declined if you do it on your own account.0 -
oh, i hadn't thought of that, im looking for insurance for my nan and was going to go through my topcashback account. We have the same surname but perhaps i should open an account in her name. can you have 2 different accounts from the same e-mail address? By the way, I think Churchill are offering £80 cash back if you go through Topcashback, and they don't keep the first £5 a year xIf marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed back out?:rotfl:0

As it's free to join, and no fee to pay, why not open an account in her name and then there will be no chance of any hassle.
(The membership conditions do say that each account is for "personal use only", and that you need their prior approval if making "excessive" purchases for other people)
Although you share the same name, you won't have the same birthday should there be any enquiry needed to get the cashback.0 -
thanx for all your replies. yes i hadnt thought of the probolems that may arise doing it under my name. may check out topcashback - thanx0
