Pregnant man in the paper is actually a woman - had a sex change but did not have an hysterectomy - no way "he" could really be called a man.

As for labour - it feels REALLY GOOD to SCREEEAAAAAM!!! I screamed the house down. It reallys is worth it in the end.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Yeah, I used one of these too and they do help, but 'pain free' is not exactly true. A water birth is good too, but you have to take off the tens thingy before you get in (obviously. Yikes!):rotfl:
  • As I wanted a natural drug free birth I used one of these in the early stages of labour and they do help. But after about 36 hours of labour it really didn't do any good so I went for the drugs.

gas and air is good!- not sure what its like for the pain but i had a few goes when the DW was giving it some welly!

Went for the drugs option in the end - that shut her up for a bit:rotfl:

I can hear you all burning your bra's as we speak.

Only joking - was there for the birth and held her hand all the way through (and i cried)

Interesting fact :- After a short time women forget how bad the pain was during birth - this is a natural phenomenon in the brain, because if they remembered then they might not have another one. - Natures way!
Crossing off my Bucket List. Not going to wait for a nod from the Doctor!!
