how safe is your domain name

Does anyone know if it is possible to check that your email hasn't been hijacked? I ask because I have recently started getting emails addressed to my former business partner (former as in previous company) at my domain name. It was a very acrimonious parting of the ways with the lawyers involved, and I could be described, I suppose as paranoid, but I just wondered!

I do not know what you mean by email being hijacked. You have a domain. By default it will accept any mail to any user at that domain. So, <you@domain.co.uk> and <your_former_partner@domain.co.uk> will both be accepted and forwarded to where you want them to be. That's perfectly normal. That's how it works.

You control the domain so you should be able to reject mails you do not want.

    Brian.
