I am trying to write something to go in my daughters 18th birthday card, as a keepsake.
can anyone recommend sayings/poems etc
that would instill something about coming of age etc.....

This is a poem that my mum used to write on my bithday cards and I now write on my daughters!
A daughters amazing, yes right from the start
Although shes not tall she can sure reach your heart
She goes through the giggles and grows into grace
And in all of the world, there is no sweeter face
Then all at once, with a sparkling surprise
your girl has grown up, right under your eyes
Shes dreams that came true from the moment of birth
And more precious than all of the treasures on earth!
