to mexico via?

My partner and I have been invited to stay with friends in Mexico :j . Whilst I am very excited I absolutely hate flying and it is a long flight. I can just about cope with a 3 or 4 hour flight at a push but then start to become claustrophobic. My question is, is there a way of getting to Mexico in "two halves" with a stop over somewhere about half way. My geography is particularly !!!!, or will that just make it extremely expensive.

Alternatively knock out pills?

Thanks.

Ummm, a stop in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean maybe? ;0)

Bite the bullet, take some happy pills and enjoy your holiday x
  • What airport in Mexico are you going to? There are direct flights to some Mexican cities but quite often you'll be changing planes in the US somewhere

  • You can fly with Continental, change planes in Houston and then direct flight from there to Aguascalientes. BA fly direct from Heathrow to mexico city or various US airlines via their US hubs

There is an Air Canada flight in summer from heathrow to St Johns in Nova Scotia, which is about 4.5 hours, then get another one to somewhere in the US and then another to Mexico, but this may cost too much than the pills and more direct flights.

Thanks for the replies I am such a wuss! Still it might be nice to go to Canada, stay for a couple of days, then half way down America for a couple of days then Mexico but I have just remembered we have to come back again, it would cost a fortune that way. I work for a Psychiatrist, perhaps I should get therapy and pills!!!!
