But in the terms and conditions it says you can't have held another A & L account in the previous 3 months... so how can that work for existing customers?#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

They have said something for existing custom in their website. The existing custom still can open this ISA account providing that they open an Investment product (excluding Balanced Savings & Investment Plan) with £5,000 or more. And Premier ISA Issue 2 must be applied for at same time as the Investment via a branch. In fact I don't think it would be a good choice for existing custom. You can find the T&C for existing custom on follows website:
http://www.alliance-leicester.co.uk/investments/index.asp?page=prem-isa&ct=currpremISA2
Although they don't tell when they will withdraw this offer for new custom, they did say that this ISA offer for existing custom will only available until 31 May 2008.Saving ---> beat the inflation

Ok, but for new A&L customers we can just apply for this current account and the ISA, meet the codition of £500 going into the account every month and enjoy a 10% ISA on £3600 max?0

From the T&C of this ISA, I believe it should be. I will try it next month since I have used up the ISA allowance of 2007/2008.
Anyway, if you like you can use quidco to apply the current account of A&L and if you get it you will earn extra 50GBP.Saving ---> beat the inflation

Yes.
It's a reasonably good ISA deal (but the current account is rubbish at just 1.5%?) for 'new money'. But to be avoided for transfers in .... because of the tie in to their equity bond.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
