barclaycard shifted payment date

Barclays have just shifted my payment dates, without giving me any notification, and i just opened my bill to see that it said i have a late payment! is there anything that I can do to claim back the money as I have spoken to them before and they made it impossible for me to pay without me going over my overdraft?

Phone them up and ask why the dates have been altered.
Tell the dates that it was supposed to be set at ,have the dates moved to a date that suits you and ask for the charges to be refunded.
    Stay calm and don't waffle.
If you don't get anywhere withthe first calltaker ask to be put through to the manager or customer retention department as these people have more discression as to whether you can have a refund.
Ultimately, you will either get your money back in which case you'll be happy but you may not so you will have to think about closing the account and going somewhere else or put up with the charges.
    good luck.

Also worth setting up a DD to repay the minimum to prevent future charges - that way you're only having to argue with them about interest charges and not default charges.

The 'notification' would have been on the statement, wouldn't it?..ie, "your payment due date is xx/xx/xx".
