What do you mean by sweating and misting over?
Have you brought it from a very very cold environment into a warm one and powered it on straight away?Team Fishcake - Silly, strange, surreal and stupid original comedy0 -
Get a PC - forget Mac. And install OpenSuse 10.30

lol at getting a PC they are rubbish I wouldnt trade my Mac any day for a PC. Was actually on a PC last night and it closed windows, shut down msn and then turned itself off all by itself, very clever and very annoying !
But thanks to the replys its sorted nowSealed pot challenge member 218 aiming for £100 17/02/08-17/12/08 :j0 -
This applies to all electronic equipment. If you bring it into a warm room from a cold place, give it several hours to acclimatise and get rid of condensation before you connect it to power or turn it on. Failure to observe this rule can result in permanent damage.0

whats the point of a comment like that. I wish people would just grow up when it comes to the mac/pc debate. We use one format you use another. Deal with it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. To the op, it doesn't sound like too much of a problem. Just climate change like others have said. Just let it acclimatise overnight.
If the worst comes to the worst, the glass might just need cleaning which (sort of) has to be done professionally, so take it to an Apple store or apple official retailer.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I would agree with Mikefishcake..... leave it to get up to normal room temp and it should be ok hopefully
nah its just the true faith even if it is a girly version of linux.
you can install osx on a normal pc now so no reson to get a mac except the aww its pretty mentality.
if its condensation on the outside then clean it off and start it up, if its the screen taken a knock then odds are it is cheaper to get a new laptop as screens are expensive even if you diy install it.
if it has external video that will likely still work though so you could hook up a monitor to it.0 -
