BT obviously hope that the number of people who forget to downgrade after 3 months will make this worthwhile.lizzie2911 wrote:BT have an offer on BT Together option 2 for 3 months for £10.50 (normally £16.50), pay an extra £1.00 if you are not paying by direct debit. What is the difference between the two services?Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -
Quite funny really, considering I've just switched to Option 1 (I realised I didn't make anywhere near the 100 calls a month it required for Option 2 to be worthwhile). Perhaps a lot of other customers are doing the same, hence the special offer.0

£6 = 300 calls to UK 01/02 numbers at 2p each for users of call18866.co.uk.LumpyCustard wrote:Quite funny really, considering I've just switched to Option 1 (I realised I didn't make anywhere near the 100 calls a month it required for Option 2 to be worthwhile).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. https://www.tele2.co.uk have a better offer then BT,s free Opt 2 for 3 months.
They are offering free evening and weekend calls to 01/02 on there medium user plan until 31/12/05.
So you get approximately an extra month more free if you use them.
They dont have any call length restriction, like BT.
If you dont use 18866 or similar or if you forget to put in access code there peak rate calls are 2.5p a min, against BT,s 3p.
There mobile rates are up to 12% cheaper then BT.
They give you £10 of free calls if you sign up online.
You can still have BT privacy (CLI) as long as you place at least one call a quarter through BT using 1280 override..
As they dont offer line rental yet they want try and get you to switch l r ,unlike TT or Onetel.PF.0
