I have tried it and found it simple to use. It'll be something that I refer back to as my circumstances change- nothing negative to say :D

Thanks all for your feedback. Glad you all seem to find it easy to use. Following feedback from the other website where it is being used, I am considering making the following changes. Once again, any comments or thoughts appreciated.

    1. Main input page. Currently the secured debts (e.g. mortgage) information is split across the Monthly Expenses table and the Secured Debts table. The former has the monthly payment and the latter has the loan amount and interest rate. I may move the loan amount and interest rate into the Expenses table so that all the secure debt information is together.

    2. When formatting the output for MSE (and other discussion boards), the Summary information is shown at the top with the detailed income and expenditure is shown below. I have had some comments from those who review SOAs on TMF that it would be clearer if the Summary tables were moved the bottom, because you need to see the nitty gritty of the SOA when reviewing it, so would be better having the detail at the top.

    3. Simplification of the Personal Balance Sheet Summary

    4. Move some of the discretionary expense items further down the Expenses list (haircuts & entertainment).

    5. Improve the display of numbers in the summary tables by adding in "," to split up the 1000s e.g. "110000" becomes "110,000".

If I make those changes, none of them will affect any of your saved data. That will still load up into the correct place in the form.

This is really useful for those starting out and covers just about anything you could think of to put in a SOA - and even then you can add your own items to it. Therefore ...

Clariman - [The obvious answer is to find a new OH or to retrain him to consult before taking such drastic action! ;)]

I have added a link to the Where to start post for Clariman's SOA calculator as I think that is the best place for it to be seen by new people looking for help.

I am also going to make this thread a temporary sticky so keep posting your feedback;)
