Even if it was plugged in at the mains, the voltages inside a computer are a maximum of 12V DC, which is unlikely cause much more damage than a nasty stinging sensation.
The only real danger comes from within the PSU unit which would require special effort to manually disassemble, which would have loads of stickers and warnings and pictures of little stickmen getting fired, or the like, and would have made me think twice, at the age of 16.
